About the role
- Position Overview The Intake Triager position is responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing incoming referral documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to order entry and clinical review.
- Identify duplicate referrals and merge documentation appropriately.
- Compare referral documentation against electronic medical records or intake systems.
Responsibilities
- Organize referral documents according to company workflow standards.
- Perform quality review before referrals advance to order entry.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Accurately document review activities in the CPR+ pharmacy management system.
- Maintain accurate referral status updates.

Requirements

- Ensure all required documentation has been received prior to processing.
- Minimum 1-2 years of specialty pharmacy, medical office, healthcare administration, or medical records experience.
- Experience reviewing medical documentation preferred.
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and medical abbreviations.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software (CPR+ or similar system preferred).
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, collaboration, and service excellence.
Nice to have
- Pharmacy field experience.
- Working knowledge of specialty medications.
- Understanding of specialty medication workflows.
- Experience working with biologics and limited distribution drugs.
- Understanding of pharmacy regulations and HIPAA requirements.

Compensation
- $23 - $25 Hourly, DOE
