About the role
- We're thrilled that you are interested in joining us here at the Amynta Group!
- Will be the primary responsible position for overseeing financial control and process optimization efforts in all assigned financial operations areas.
- The individual will assist Ambridge finance in critical key projects affecting Ambridge finance and alignment with Ambridge and Amynta initiatives.
Requirements
- Individual will need to have the aptitude to evaluate requirements, clearly design and frame outputs, identify "root cause: issues and direct remediation or enhancement efforts as required.
- Ability to assist in ad-hoc work and strategic projects as required with the aptitude to challenge the business and frame insightful output.
- The ability to establish effective working relationships across the business.
- Finance or accounting background demonstrated 10+ years in Property casualty industry. CPA or advanced finance or accounting degree preferred.
- Solid experience of business performance management disciplines, business process improvement, balanced business scorecards or KPI reporting.
- Experienced people manager with strong management skills, comfortable managing others'
- Strong communicator, able to identify, understand and discuss complex concepts with both expert and non-expert colleagues.
- Flexible approach to work and the ability to use your initiative whilst being involved in a number of ongoing projects at any time.
- The ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively to ensure successful completion of work in a timely manner for both self and team.
- Ability to quickly learn internal systems, tools and models efficiently and lead efforts on process improvement, internal controls and compliance in concert with colleagues through the Ambridge and Amynta organization
Nice to have
- Finance or accounting background demonstrated 10+ years in Property casualty industry.
- CPA or advanced finance or accounting degree preferred.
- Strong P&C Product Insurance and or reinsurance experience from either a carrier or MGA/MGU preferred
