About the role

  • This role serves as a key link between engineering, manufacturing, and leadership to ensure projects are completed efficiently and processes are optimized.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Troubleshoot machining and process issues, implementing corrective actions to improve performance and reduce downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate projects by defining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage day-to-day project execution, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and aligned with priorities.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize impact on cost, quality, and delivery.
  • CNC Programming & Manufacturing Support
  • Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs to support production requirements.
  • Partner with machinists and engineers to ensure programs meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
  • Support process validation and continuous improvement efforts through programming and technical expertise.
  • The Staff Engineer is responsible for leading and executing manufacturing-related projects while providing CNC programming support to meet production, quality, and delivery objectives.
  • This role requires a balance of project leadership and hands-on technical capability to drive results in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in project coordination, engineering, or a related manufacturing role.
  • Experience in FeatureCAM, MasterCAM, Creo, and Six Sigma
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook

Nice to have

  • Experience with CNC programming and machining processes.
  • Familiarity with project management and data analysis tools.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing principles, tooling, and shop practices.
