About the role
- Project Engineer I – Value Engineering (VE)
- The Value Engineering Project Engineer I supports cross-functional initiatives focused on cost reduction, product optimization, and continuous improvement. This role works under the guidance of senior engineers and project leaders to execute VE projects and support global teams.
Responsibilities
- Support Value Engineering projects from concept through implementation
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to support design changes and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, and Sourcing
- Ability to manage several simultaneous projects to aggressive schedules and results
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internship/co-op acceptable)
- Ability to handle fast paced, and agile culture
- Familiarity with CAD tools
Nice to have
- Exposure to DFMA, cost drivers, or product development processes preferred
