- Join Premier Automation as a Production Scheduler and play a key role in keeping our manufacturing operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities
- You'll develop and maintain production schedules that align customer demand, shop capacity, and material availability to support on-time project delivery while collaborating closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, Quality, and Production teams.
- Headquartered in Monroeville, PA, Premier Automation is an engineering solutions company that designs and builds custom control panels, motor control systems, drives, and industrial automation solutions for manufacturers around the world.
- Partner daily with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, Production, and Quality teams to coordinate manufacturing priorities and support on-time customer delivery
- Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, material availability, labor capacity, and manufacturing priorities
- Review upcoming work orders and evaluate production capacity to support efficient workflow and maximize shop throughput
- Coordinate closely with Purchasing to monitor supplier lead times, identify material shortages, and expedite critical components when needed
- Lead production schedule discussions during recurring operations meetings, providing updates on critical jobs, expedited orders, and production timelines
- Maintain accurate production planning data and ensure ERP information reflects current manufacturing status
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, operations coordination, supply chain, logistics, or a related manufacturing environment
- Experience working within an ERP or MRP system in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while managing changing production demands and deadlines
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
- Experience supporting custom manufacturing, industrial automation, electrical equipment, or other project-based manufacturing environments
- Experience analyzing production data and recommending process improvements
- Experience reviewing Bills of Material (BOMs) or manufacturing documentation is preferred

Compensation
- Minimal travel (approximately 1-2 trips per year) to our Alpharetta, GA facility
