About the role

  • Job Description The simulation manager is responsible for the overall direction and assisting the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) Program Director in the coordination of the simulation curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic direction for simulation curriculum and evaluation, simulation pedagogy, and purchasing of equipment Design and implement simulation scenarios tailored to anesthesia topics (e.g., airway crises, hemodynamic instability, regional anesthesia complications).
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate simulations into didactic and clinical coursework.
  • Maintain simulation equipment (manikins, task trainers, audiovisual systems).
