About the role

  • The Manager of Accounting is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting data, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Work with Corporate Accounting to support internal and external audits
  • This role manages accounting staff, monitors financial processes, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing standard costing
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, D365, QAD)

Compensation

  • $91,700.00 - $150,800.00 Position Summary:
  • Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for site
