About the role
- Prepare PPE roll-forwards including additions, transfers, retirements, disposals, depreciation, and month-end reconciliations.
- Coordinate periodic physical counts and reconcile results to the fixed asset subledger and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries for PPE, prepaids, AP, and accrual liabilities, etc.
Responsibilities
- Manage CIP/AUC balances, including project tracking, capitalization, in-service dates, transfers to fixed assets, and depreciation. Review asset-clearing accounts and resolve aged or unmatched items with business partners.
- Establish and maintain compliant asset-disposal procedures in partnership with Facilities, Tax, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Identify process improvements and help implement efficient ERP and fixed-asset accounting solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or semiconductor environment.
- Experience with PPE, CIP/AUC, prepaids, AP, accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, capitalization policies, depreciation, and internal controls.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across functions.
- Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
