About the role

The PV2 Pharmacist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and regulatory-compliant verification of prescriptions processed during the shift.
This position focuses on the second stage of prescription verification (PV2), providing a final review before fulfillment and shipment to patients.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain productivity metrics to align with pharmacy goals and efficiency benchmarks

Operational Support: Assist in troubleshooting any issues related to prescription processing, verification systems, or workflow interruptions during the midnight shift

Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
Prior experience in a compounding pharmacy
Strong understanding of medication administration and pharmacology principles
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
