- Experience in Data (Data science, Data engineering).
- Engineering background - prior hands-on experience as an engineer with Python, frontend frameworks, or full-stack development.
- Non-negotiable
- 5+ years as a cloud architect on AWS. Hands-on experience is a must, you won't be successful if you've only diagramed from the sidelines.
- Understanding of Cloud networking and security. VPC, IAM, and the security realities of handling sensitive data.
- Hands-on cloud application design. Frontend applications on cloud platforms, plus architecture for headless, serverless, and event-driven applications.
- DevOps-driven architecture - infrastructure as code, automation, and CI/CD.
- Integration architecture - REST/SOAP API design, integration patterns, buses/gateways, point-to-point vs. gateway trade-offs, payload/contract design, and debugging integration connectivity.
- Data modeling - sound grasp of data models across integrated systems.
- CRM architecture - familiarity with CRM platforms, automation, and the underlying data model.
- Disposition
- A hands-on technical lead - happy owning architecture and getting into the details, unblocking developers, and driving day-to-day delivery. You lead by doing.
