Responsibilities
- Use and maintain measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, height gauges).
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a manual machinist.
- 5+ years as a manual machinist.
- Advanced knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools and measuring equipment
- Experience of other manual machines (manual HBM mill, drill press, surface grinder, keyseater, etc.)
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to setup and run with little to no supervision
- Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- You will work within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify approach and must complete assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Perform operations including turning, facing, boring, drilling, reaming, threading, grooving, and other lathe/mill work operations as required.
- Experience with small/large diameter or long-length work (steady rest/follow rest), and tight tolerances.
- Must be competent in ID and OD threading and grooving.
- Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality expectations while supporting a production schedule
- Execute daily priorities and duties as defined by the supervisor or area lead
- Conduct in-process and final inspection; document results and report nonconformities.
- Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications and report any non-conformities
- The employee must regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 30 lbs. and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to apply basic written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to meet consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Safely operate shop equipment such as overhead crane/forklift where applicable (or ability to become certified).
