About the role

The Professional Instructor is primarily responsible for teaching alpine skiing and/or snowboarding to the guests of Winter Park Resort aged 2 through adult.
Lessons are taught using methods prescribed by the Winter Park Ski & Ride School with an emphasis on safety and fun to meet or exceed the expectations of our guests.
Instructors are eligible for sales incentives, hourly incentives, and tips that may significantly increase their take home pay.

Use a phone & email to communicate with staff and guests, to regularly review your schedule & pay, and to maintain accurate class records
Prioritize guest safety in addition to your own. Proactively resolve or report concerns or issues.
Support operations including greeting guests, shadowing or assisting others, operating surface lifts, setup/cleanup, etc.
Maintain sufficient physical conditioning

Applicants must be 18+ on their start date
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
These physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Required: Ski parallel or ride switch on all green and groomed blue terrain.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
This position is required to work weekends and holidays.
Children must be escorted at all times
