About the role

  • Location Details: United States, Remote At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team.

  • This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home.

Responsibilities

  • Influence thousands of developers, invent the future developer experience for in-house and outside teams and builders, and help build the foundation for GoDaddy's operation in an AI-native world
  • Define and implement the strategy for Developer Platform & Experiences across internal & external developers and broader builder ecosystems
  • Build and scale highly available, secure, and extensible platforms that improve engineering velocity, reliability, and developer satisfaction
  • Partner with ELT, Architecture, Security, Product, and Infrastructure teams to influence enterprise-wide technical strategy and platform investments
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled engineering workflows, developer assistants, autonomous systems, and emerging software delivery patterns
  • Develop strong engineering culture through technical excellence, operational rigor, coaching, and inclusive leadership
  • Create measurable outcomes around developer productivity, platform adoption, operational efficiency, and software quality
  • Stay connected to architecture and implementation details; hands-on coding, prototyping, and technical experimentation are preferred to maintain technical depth and credibility

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale engineering organizations and platform teams in high-growth or enterprise environments

Compensation

  • In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, which may include a corporate bonus and/or equity awards, subject to the terms of applicable plans and individual eligibility.
  • $237,500 - $395,500 USD
  • $204,500 - $340,500 USD
  • $217,600 - $362,600 USD
  • $182,500 - $304,500 USD
