About the role

Location Details: United States, Remote At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team.
Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home.

Influence thousands of developers, invent the future developer experience for in-house and outside teams and builders, and help build the foundation for GoDaddy's operation in an AI-native world
Define and implement the strategy for Developer Platform & Experiences across internal & external developers and broader builder ecosystems
Build and scale highly available, secure, and extensible platforms that improve engineering velocity, reliability, and developer satisfaction
Partner with ELT, Architecture, Security, Product, and Infrastructure teams to influence enterprise-wide technical strategy and platform investments
Drive adoption of AI-enabled engineering workflows, developer assistants, autonomous systems, and emerging software delivery patterns
Develop strong engineering culture through technical excellence, operational rigor, coaching, and inclusive leadership
Create measurable outcomes around developer productivity, platform adoption, operational efficiency, and software quality
Stay connected to architecture and implementation details; hands-on coding, prototyping, and technical experimentation are preferred to maintain technical depth and credibility

10+ years of experience leading large-scale engineering organizations and platform teams in high-growth or enterprise environments

The estimated pay ranges for this role are listed below.
In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, which may include a corporate bonus and/or equity awards, subject to the terms of applicable plans and individual eligibility.
Bay Area (Santa Clara, San Francisco) and Los Angeles:
$237,500 - $395,500 USD
Austin, D.C. Metro, CA (non-Bay Area), HI, IL, MA, NH, OR, VA, WA:
$204,500 - $340,500 USD
$217,600 - $362,600 USD
$182,500 - $304,500 USD
