About the role
- You'll be the first dedicated accounting hire at Reflection.
- Up-level and partially in-house our monthly close process, currently managed by an external bookkeeping firm.
- Coordinate across entities to ensure accurate, timely financials.
Responsibilities
- Reflection is a research lab making intelligence open and accessible for everyone to use, customize, and build on.
- We build open models that let anyone control their intelligence and help shape the future of AI.
- Accounts payable. Own the full AP cycle - vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliation.
- Tax & compliance. Ensure all tax filings and associated compliance obligations are completed on time and accurately across jurisdictions. Manage relationships with external tax advisors.
- Systems. Lead evaluation and implementation of systems changes as needed (e.g., NetSuite migration) to support revenue recognition, international entity consolidation, and scale.
- Treasury. Provide treasury reporting and support liquidity management across entities and currencies.

Requirements
- Experience as an early accounting hire at a high-growth, venture-backed company
- 4-8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience implementing new tools, including ERP/system of record migrations

- CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
