About the role
- This role works closely with field leadership, project management teams, and safety leadership to promote safe work practices, regulatory compliance, hazard awareness, and workforce engagement throughout active construction operations.
Requirements
- This role requires strong organizational skills, communication abilities, field presence, and the ability to work effectively in both office and active construction environments.
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations, corrective action tracking, and maintenance of required compliance documentation and records.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Nice to have
- OSHA 10 required
- OSHA 30 preferred.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
- Additional safety certifications or specialized construction safety training preferred.
- Certifications/Licenses: OSHA 10 required
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 2-4 years of construction, industrial, manufacturing, or safety-related experience preferred.
- Experience supporting field operations, conducting inspections, maintaining compliance records, or assisting with safety initiatives preferred.
Skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety practices, and hazard recognition principles.
- Understanding of construction operations, electrical safety practices, PPE requirements, and jobsite safety expectations preferred.
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, electronic reporting systems, safety management software, and mobile technology platforms.
- Ability to adapt to changing operational priorities and fast-paced construction environments.
