Lead a team of workers in operations and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure, including but not limited to mains, lift stations, booster stations.
Flushes hydrants, maintenance, exercises valves, and perform pressure tests of fire hydrants.
Develop preventative maintenance schedules and assure compliance with the schedule and record keeping.
Develops estimates for the repairs and maintenance.
Manage inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and repair tasks.
Perform all duties as assigned by management.
Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months.

This position requires a thorough knowledge of water and wastewater systems and the ability to oversee the work of a team.
Availability for standby duty and the ability to be "on-call," working evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Response to emergency events and alarm call-outs required as scheduled and when required.
Accrued based on years of experience and calculated on hours worked
Ensure team completes daily required operational site inspections.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater maintenance and repair
Applicants will possess proficiency with computers, including an ability to work with SCADA, Microsoft Word, Excel and maintenance management programs.
Applicant must be able to understand and follow compliance standards.

Water and wastewater certifications for Forida (such as a minimum Class DSI or Class C certification) are highly preferred.
