About the role
- The Operational Risk Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the project management for non-financial risk programs and initiatives.
- Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
- Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
Responsibilities
- Embed effective risk and control considerations into project design and delivery
- Partner with business, technology, compliance, resilience, and risk teams to provide challenge and guidance across multiple initiatives in parallel
- Support risk governance, approvals, and reporting for projects
- The team is looking to fill a new role under Operational and Non-Financial Risk to support project management for risk requirements.

Skills
- 4+ years of project management experience
- Experience with risk management
- MS Office experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong problem solving/analysis skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable messaging
- High degree of attention to detail
- Collaboration/team skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and shifting priorities
- Nice to Have
- Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification
- Previous financial industry experience
- Executive level communication/presentation experience
Compensation
- $69,000.00 - $129,000.00
- The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type.
- For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
- BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
