About the role

  • We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Generator Technician to join our field service team.
  • You will work under the direction of the Service Manager, assisting experienced technicians with the maintenance and repair of generator sets and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Support & Maintenance: Assist with routine preventative maintenance (oil and filter changes) and support lead technicians during engine repairs.
  • Logistics: Deliver parts and load bank trailers to field technicians as needed.
  • This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in power generation.

Requirements

  • Excellent driving record and valid license required.
  • Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.

Nice to have

  • Military background (e.g., US Air Force Electrical Power Production, US Navy Electrician's Mate) or prior field service experience is a plus.
  • HS Diploma required
  • Associate degree in an Electrical/Mechanical field preferred.

Skills

  • Strong communication and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Adobe/PDFs).
  • Travel/Logistics: Excellent driving record and valid license required.

Compensation

  • Competitive Pay: Base pay plus 1.5x overtime.
