About the role
- Person will be responsible for all shipping and receiving activities, management of finished goods, customer overrun inventory and packaging supplies.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Forward daily customer shipping transactions and incoming packing lists to Accounting on a daily basis. • Verify if quantities produced and/or plated will satisfy the customer order quantity.
- The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Employee must be able to stand for long periods of time.

- May be required to work in various areas of operations when necessary, assist accounting with cycle counting and year-end inventory when necessary.
- May be required to compile various reports and data tracking.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two years experience in Shipping/Receiving.
- Ability to use Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Familiar with custom software programs for freight vendors; UPS, Fed-Ex, ETC.
- Basic arithmetic skills and attention to details is required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Good communication skills.
