About the role
- Note: Completion of an accredited Mammography program acceptable in lieu of ARRT(M).
- Must obtain certification/registry within 1 year of hire. - BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).
- May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
Responsibilities
- Performs mammogram exams on patients.
- Performs Quality Control (QC) needed for FDA/ACR.
- Provides imaging support to other modalities in center (x-ray/ bone density, etc).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Must have met initial requirements under MQSA standards.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
- obtain certification/registry within 1 year of hire.
Nice to have
- Associate's Degree preferred.
