- Summary of Responsibilities This position is responsible for properly and safely cleaning the facility as established in the cleaning schedule and procedures, and for maintaining high quality of cleaning.
Requirements
- Must be dependable, well organized, and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate various housekeeping machines and equipment.
- Knowledge of and ability to use all cleaning chemicals in a proper and safe manner.
- Ability to visually measure and mix cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to visually inspect work to ensure cleanliness.
- Ability to read, understand and comply with all safety procedures, and company policies and procedures.
- Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and the Employee-Right-To-Know Program.
- Ability to wear required laboratory clean room clothing (shoe covers) and other safety/protective equipment (mask and/or face shield, rubber gloves) for extended periods of time.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; not required
Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One to two years' experience cleaning commercial facilities preferred.
