About the role
- 8-12 month internship starting September 2026 to September 2027
- As an intern, you will be a contributor to the team, helping with hands on hardware performance testing, including data collection and analysis.
- You may also get involved with testing some software aspects of our modem products.
Responsibilities
- WaveLogic Systems Design Architecture Intern
- Assist with Design Verification Testing (performance testing), including optical performance, power consumption, electrical performance.
- Identifying issues and driving resolution into the HW & SW design teams.
- Providing feedback on design and helping to drive improvements into the optical module.

Requirements
- Working knowledge of Python
- Some coding experience with MATLAB & Java scripting is an asset.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tool suite (Word, Excel), and working with large data sets (sorting, filtering, graphing).
Skills
- Capture data during DVT tests, post-analysis and presentation.
Compensation
- The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00
