About the role

  • Summary of Role: GlobalFoundries is seeking a highly motivated New College Graduate with a background in Electrical Engineering and foundational knowledge of device physics to join the Central Services Lab team.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical fundamentals, a willingness to learn hands‑on lab and data workflows, and an interest in software, automation, or data‑driven methods.

Responsibilities

  • Support device characterization and electrical testing across wafer‑level and structure‑level measurements
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on model development, test plans, and measurement correlation
  • Develop and maintain scripts or small tools to improve data processing, analysis, or workflow efficiency
  • Document results and contribute to technical reviews and internal reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field (New College Graduate)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑based, lab‑driven environment

Nice to have

  • Hands‑on experience with electrical testing or lab measurements (internships, senior projects, or coursework)
  • Experience with Python or other programming languages such as C or C++
  • Exposure to data analysis, automation, or scripting workflows
  • Familiarity with AI / ML concepts or tools applied to data analysis (academic or project‑based)
  • Experience handling large datasets or measurement data files
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in process improvement, standardization, and automation
