About the role
- Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients.
- Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.
- We accept direct hire candidates only, W2 employee hires.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and resources (both family and community support).
- Develop and maintain working relationships with community resources.
- Perform efficiently in emergency patient situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons, and documenting events.
- Notify supervisor, director, or other designated person regarding problems that the HCW is unable to manage
Requirements
- Each HCW providing service under this contract or resultant task orders shall undergo an orientation and shall complete mandatory Navy and DoD on-line training as required.
- ability to travel locally as needed.
- Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Maintain a level of productivity comparable with that of other individuals performing similar services.
- Adhere to and comply with the Department of the Navy, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, and local instructions and notices in effect during the term of the contract.
- Practice aseptic techniques as necessary
- comply with infection control guidelines to include the proper handling, storage, and disposal of infectious wastes, and the use of universal precautions to prevent the spread of infection.
- Apply an awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and strive to manage situations in a reduced risk manner.
- Maintain an awareness of responsibility and accountability for own professional practice.
- Maintain DoD email account as directed by government supervisor.
- Exercise appropriate delegation of tasks and duties in the direction and coordination of health care team members, patient care, and clinic activities.
- Be able to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, Department of Defense, Department of Navy, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, and MTF instructions and policies.

- Working knowledge of relevant military, state, federal, and local laws and resources.
- Highly developed written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
- Citizenship Status Required: U.S Citizenship.

Skills
- Function with an awareness and application of safety procedures.
- Exercise awareness and sensitivity to patient/significant others' rights, as identified within the MTF.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Possess a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- Ability to pass all background/suitability checks.
- A valid driver's license; ability to travel locally as needed.

- Attend and/or comply with all annual training classes required by the Command, to include but not limited to online annual training provided by the MTF, disaster training, infection control, Sexual Harassment, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire and Safety, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE), and all other required training.

- Provide counseling to patient and family in matters directly related to patient limitations, adjustment to medical condition, and ongoing treatment.
- Develop and implement discharge plans, follow-up care, and transfers to other health care facilities (e.g., nursing homes, rehabilitation hospitals, and VA facilities).
- Plan and maintain referral and coordination services with civilian health and social service agencies to provide optimal patient care.
- Provide consultation services to medical, nursing, and ancillary hospital staff regarding psychosocial issues, discharge plans, and follow-up care for patients and families.
