About the role

  • The Intake Coordinator helps with the intake process for potential clients into the Refugee Health Promotion Program.
  • The intake coordinator will evaluate clients' needs through a health and wellness assessment that are then shared with the health navigators.
  • This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until September 30, 2026, and contingent upon funding extension.

Nice to have

  • Ability to provide quick and accurate interpretation and translation in any of the preferred languages: Dari, Pashto, Arabic, Ukrainian, Haitian Creole, and Spanish.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office applications, experience with online record keeping and data entry, and familiarity with digital communication tools such as Zoom and Teams

  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
