About the role

Essential Duties (other duties may be assigned): Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces, assists in fitting and welding.
Holds tape rods and marks reference points to assist in layout.
Attaches chain and other handling equipment to material preparing for movement by crane or jib.

Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Continual improvement.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
Employee is regularly required to stand at minimum 90% of shift.

Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
Tools of this job include grinders, scrapers, hammers, and other handheld tools.
