About the role

  • Solution Architect - Location: Sunnyvale, CA--- 3 days/ week onsite--hybrid work Interview--2 rounds of interview(ZOOM)-- Duration: LONG TERM JD: Top Skills: Snowflake, Tableau and Python certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for architecture, design, and processes for consumption by Data Engineers and Business Analysts.
  • Generate Source to target mapping document.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and manufacturing experts, collaborate on best practices and align solutions with business goals.
  • Data Modeling: Collaborate with Data Engineers and Front-end developers to design and implement scalable data models within Snowflake and Tableau to support efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of manufacturing data.
  • Tableau Development: Collaborate with Back-end Data Engineers and Front-End developers to create and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and manufacturing experts, collaborate on best practices and align solutions with business goals.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Front-end developers to design and implement scalable data models within Snowflake and Tableau to support efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of manufacturing data.
  • Collaborate with Back-end Data Engineers and Front-End developers to create and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master s degree in information technology or a related field with a focus on Manufacturing and/or Quality Engineering.
  • Experience in Data Engineering and Analytics with a focus on Snowflake, Tableau and Python.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing data models for consumption by Data Engineers using Snowflake and Business Systems Analysts using Tableau.
  • Experience working with business applications like SAP and Agile, and understanding of cross functional business processes in Engg. & Mfg. and PLM domain (PDM, NPI, BOM, MRP) and enterprise data elements.
  • Insights on Process Engineering data Experience working with AI/ML Models and moving them to production will be an added advantage.

Skills

  • Snowflake, Tableau and Python certifications.

  • Advanced skills in Tableau for dashboard development and report creation.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with performance optimization in both Snowflake and Tableau environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills between Business, Data Engineering and Analytics teams across Americas, Europe and Asia.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and requirements.
  • Experience working with AI and ML Models and moving them to production will be an added advantage.
