About the role

  • This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who brings strong knowledge of U.S. employment practices, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes ownership of delivering exceptional employee experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR operations while helping ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while supporting audit readiness and HR compliance initiatives
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including Form I-9 verification and employment eligibility administration
  • Manage semi-monthly payroll processing and related employee transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration
  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters and employee relations issues
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing coordination, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer administration
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and support hiring decisions
  • Support performance management programs, including goal setting, performance review administration, and employee development initiatives
  • Develop, update, and improve HR policies, procedures, and SOPs to enhance operational effectiveness and scalability
  • Support employee engagement, culture-building initiatives, internal communications, and company events

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience in the United States
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, HR operations, compliance activities, and talent acquisition
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience working with HRIS systems and multi-state employment environments preferred
  • Bilingual Korean and English preferred
  • Experience supporting gaming, technology, entertainment, or fast-growing organizations is a plus

Compensation

  • $80,000 - $110,000
