About the role

Company Background Ownwell helps property owners reduce the costs of owning real estate.
Our proprietary software automatically identifies property owners that are overpaying on real estate expenses.
Over $40 billion is overpaid in property taxes every year, and inaccurate tax assessments disproportionately affect people of color, immigrants, as well as low-income communities.

Collaborate with Product Managers on new product ideas, from early concepts to shipped features
Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately while understanding technical constraints and building relationships with stakeholders.
Support and work alongside other Product Designers
Support ongoing product iterations based on customer feedback, research, and data
Help maintain and evolve our design system by keeping things clean, consistent, and scalable
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
3-7 years of product design experience at a startup
If you love Figma, care deeply about consumer products, homeownership and financial solutions for home owners, and want to develop your craft inside a product that actually matters - then this is the role for you.

Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
Familiarity with property tech or fintech is a plus (but not required)
A portfolio that includes 0→1 or early-stage product work
