About the role
- Drafting and negotiating clinical trial agreements (CTAs), confidentiality agreements, and related product development contracts.
- Partnering and collaborating with external stakeholders, including major academic hospitals, clinical research sites, and prominent research universities across Canada.
- Ensuring risk mitigation and compliance by aligning agreement terms with Roche's internal policies, Canadian healthcare regulations, data privacy laws, and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Providing legal support to internal clinical operations and study management teams to resolve contract-related bottlenecks efficiently.
- We also collaborate with other departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote ethical business behavior, patient safety, data privacy, and transparency, while maximizing the value of our intellectual property.
Requirements
- You posses 3+ years of experience and demontrate a strong foundational interest in drafting and negotiating contracts within the Canadian legal landscape.
- You are self-motivated and capable of working independently, managing multiple contract files simultaneously with strict attention to detail.
- You possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between legal requirements and clinical research goals.

Compensation
- The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 89,256.00 and 117,148.50 of hiring range.
