About the role
- We are looking for a highly skilled and self-sufficient Data Engineering, Cloud, and Platform Engineer.
- This role is critical to ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across databases, servers, cloud environments, containerized platforms and understand our Data Engineering and Power BI environments.
- The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and capable of independently managing infrastructure while supporting modern application and data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and analytics teams to support applications and data platforms
- Manage and administer Windows Server and Linux Server environments
- Own and maintain database platforms:
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes or similar)
- Configure and manage network components:
Requirements
- Experience with scripting/automation using Python
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, monitoring)
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex, cross-layer issues
Nice to have
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Monitoring/observability tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Identity & access management (Azure AD)
- Highly autonomous and self-sufficient
- Strong ownership mindset ("this is mine to run")
- Comfortable operating across infra, cloud, containers, and data
- Pragmatic problem solver (not just theoretical)

- Design, implement, and optimize solutions in Microsoft Azure
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across infrastructure
