About the role

  • All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.
  • Ensure the safety of guests and team members while on the premises of the Seneca Gaming Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the strictest of confidentiality with respect to the internal functions of the Security Department as well as any other information deemed to be confidential.
  • Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the casino.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following fields
  • Must be able to use approved software programs for Security duties (such as report writing software, Dispatch software, etc.) as well as programs such as Word and Excel.
  • Must have good observation skills.
  • Must have good writing and spelling skills.
  • Must have proven guest service experience and must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform the required job duties.
  • Must have outstanding verbal communication skills to resolve or diffuse difficult situations such as guest conflicts, disputes, complaints, etc.

Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Compensation

  • $16.16 Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
