One to three years previous experience as a Medical Administrative Assistant/Secretary in a healthcare practice (therapy/rehab dept, physicians practice or other clinic environment)
Excellent communication, organization and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of insurance processes, benefit verification, and therapy authorization requirements strongly preferred.
Proficient in EMR systems, scheduling software.
Knowledge of medical terminology, understanding of rehab services strongly preferred.
Computer skills
