About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and/or review planning documents
- Conduct building code compliance evaluations
- Perform peer reviews of plans, specifications, and technical reports
- Develop design concepts and detailed mechanical system designs
- Support project activities during design, bid, and construction phases
- Develop and review project schedules
- Develop lifecycle cost estimates
- Develop scopes of work and provide contract administration support
- Lead production of design and technical documentation
- Ensure adherence to technical and design standards
Requirements
- Must have an active TS/SCI with a CI polygraph
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years of expereince.
- Must be able to travel 10-20% including OCONUS
- TS/SCI REQUIRED/Current CI Poly
- Serve as project or team lead as required
- EIT Certificate required; Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
- Ability to develop working knowledge of all technical requirements of projects.
- Experienced user on commonly used CADD software, including REVIT
Nice to have
- Autodesk Certified Professional preferred
- Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- EIT Certificate required
- Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
Compensation
