- At Realtor, our technology team participates in the research and development of scalable applications, identifying new technologies and trends to enhance our products and business.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery for the ambiguous/complex problem space in the squad.
- Provide guidance to team/s on system architecture and design.
- Develop solutions that are of high quality, scalable, and reliable
- Mentor and develop a team of engineers
- Be self-directed, take initiative and drive towards solutions with little guidance
- Experience evaluating trade-offs between design approaches
- Experience in developing scalable systems
Nice to have
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience contributing to system architecture and design
- Experience in software development and a strong willingness to learn our technology stack, including: Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, NumPy, Pandas), React, Node.js, and GraphQL
- Experience with cloud systems (AWS preferred)
- Knowledge with data platforms and pipelines (snowflake & airflow preferred)
- Experience working with relational or non-relational databases.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Interest in AI and ML, with a willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies
