About the role

  • Qantas Engineering in Los Angeles is home to our state-of-the-art maintenance facility which opened in 2017, where we carry out critical scheduled maintenance on our wide-body aircraft with a primary focus on our A380 and B787 fleet.
  • Our team ensures we meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.
  • As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will play an important operational role in our north America Engineering hub.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to effectively supervise, coach and motivate team members
  • Extensive experience in either Line, Intermediate or Heavy Maintenance
  • A commitment to being a highly customer-focused team worker with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
  • Experience completing tasks allocated in accordance with the procedure's manual and aircraft manufacturers maintenance manual
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a dynamic team environment
  • Proven problem-solving skills, particularly when under pressure

Nice to have

  • Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) - B1 or B2
  • B787 and / or A380 type rated
  • Full time Permanent and 2-3 Year Secondment Positions available in Los Angeles, USA
  • $62 - $67 US per hour

Compensation

  • $62k-$67k
