About the role

  • We're looking for an enthusiastic and organized People Operations Intern to join our People & Culture team for an 8-month internship.
  • This role offers hands-on exposure to the full employee lifecycle, with opportunities to contribute to employee engagement, HR operations, communications, DEI initiatives, campus and early-career programs, recruitment, and other People & Culture projects.
  • The expected hourly base salary range for this role is $23.00 to $30.00, with final hourly salary determined based on experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the People Operations Business Partner, you'll primarily support the People Operations team while also partnering closely with our People Programs & Experience and Talent Acquisition teams on a variety of initiatives.
  • You'll gain practical experience across multiple areas of HR while helping deliver an exceptional employee and candidate experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Support initiatives related to the ongoing enhancement and modernization of PICTON's performance management processes.
  • Treat investors' money like our own.

Requirements

  • Canadian experience is not required.

Nice to have

  • Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program (HR, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Canva or similar tools are a plus

Compensation

  • The expected hourly base salary range for this role is $23.00 to $30.00, with final hourly salary determined based on experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
