About the role
- These positions will be responsible for the maintenance duties of parks, outdoor recreation facilities and walking trail systems.
- The Operator I - Parks occasionally provides direction for seasonal staff.

Requirements
- These positions will assist with other divisions and/or perform other duties as required.
- Possesses knowledge of the Alberta Weed Control Act and related regulations
- Has experience with heavy and light equipment operation.
- Has the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Has knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in routine maintenance, landscaping, and construction tasks.
- AB Environment Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 6-months)
- Minimum 3 years experience working with weed and pest control.
