About the role

  • Paul College of Business and Economics, is seeking a business advisor for the North Country Region of the state.
  • Under the direction of the Regional Director, evaluate and analyze small business issues and provide solutions-based approaches and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in accounting, business management, or related field and 3-5 years of accounting/financial management or related experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of a specialized field of business

Nice to have

  • Some familiarity with computer programming and data analysis techniques.
  • Small business ownership experience preferred.

Skills

  • One year of operational experience carrying out assignments using management skills.
  • Ability to meet and work with diverse groups of people.
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel extensively on short notice and to make overnight stays, if required.
  • Some familiarity with computer programming and data analysis techniques. Small business ownership experience preferred.
  • Experience in a consulting or related service organization working on assignments for external clients.
  • Knowledge of a specialized field of business; such as, accounting, sales, marketing, etc.

Compensation

  • There is a student enrollment of 13,000 students, with a full-time faculty of over 600, offering 90 undergraduate and more than 70 graduate programs.
  • The pay range for this position is listed above.
