About the role
- Assure resident rooms are cleanand tidy throughout each day and follows scheduled housekeeping tasks such as laundry asassigned.
- Serves meals to residents in dining room or apartment.• Encourages the resident to eat a balanced diet while respecting the resident's right of freechoice.
Responsibilities
- Gathering, engaging, and assisting residents in activities, conducting activities in groups or oneon-one with residents as requested. Encouraging residents to socialize and participate inplanned activities and develop friendships with other residents.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents. Assure resident rooms are cleanand tidy throughout each day and follows scheduled housekeeping tasks such as laundry asassigned. Serves meals to residents in dining room or apartment.
- Encourages the resident to eat a balanced diet while respecting the resident's right of freechoice. Documents and reports any changes in eating habits to supervisor.
- Maintains the resident record daily following company policy and procedure.
- Encouraging residents to socialize and participate inplanned activities and develop friendships with other residents.• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both residents and staff.
- Ability to read andcomprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simplecorrespondence.
Nice to have
- Experience working with older adults
- CNA Certification
- Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care
