About the role

  • As a Business Analyst within the Pension Technology - Pension Platform Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of HOOPP's pension platform.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Support & Incident Management
  • Support end-to-end resolution of production incidents to minimize business impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Perform root cause analysis and contribute to post-incident reviews, including documentation and tracking of follow-up actions.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements and support issue resolution.
  • Testing & Quality Support
  • Support testing activities including validation of fixes / Defect Retest and ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in SQL or data querying tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (or similar tracking tool such as Jira or ALM )
  • Experience with Incident management tool such as ServiceNow
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Familiarity with automation technologies and tools, scripting, or workflow platforms
  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role within financial services or pension domain.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong multi-tasking and context-switching abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Exposure to testing methodologies (UAT, integration, regression testing)
  • Exposure to defect management and re-testing processes
  • Exposure to Power Platform such as Power Apps, Power Automate

Compensation

  • The actual base salary offered to the successful candidate may vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, individual's expertise and level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered.
  • This role is eligible to participate in discretionary incentive plan(s), subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan text.
