About the role
- Provides direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patient populations.
- Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition.
- Assesses operating room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases, and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the operating room.
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
Nice to have
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
