  • In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving an accurate month-end close, performing insightful financial analysis, and supporting critical accounting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of company's operation, banking activities and maintain an accounting-focused mindset.
  • Perform daily reconciliations between the general ledger and reporting software
  • resolve discrepancies by identifying root causes and collaborating with the appropriate functional or technical teams to maintain data integrity.
  • Support reporting to the Regulatory and Financial Reporting team.

  • Compliance & Audit Support
  • Support general ledger activity to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Support internal, external, and regulatory audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and policies to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with other teams, various departments, and internal/external auditors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of accounting experience in a public or private setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Proactive team player with an eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00

Nice to have

  • CPA candidate preferred.
