In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving an accurate month-end close, performing insightful financial analysis, and supporting critical accounting functions.

Responsibilities

Develop knowledge of company's operation, banking activities and maintain an accounting-focused mindset.
Perform daily reconciliations between the general ledger and reporting software
resolve discrepancies by identifying root causes and collaborating with the appropriate functional or technical teams to maintain data integrity.
Support reporting to the Regulatory and Financial Reporting team.

Compliance & Audit Support
Support general ledger activity to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Support internal, external, and regulatory audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and policies to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with other teams, various departments, and internal/external auditors.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1+ years of accounting experience in a public or private setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.
Proactive team player with an eagerness to learn and grow.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00
