About the role
- This person will sit on the Growth team, work closely with and report to the Senior Manager of Creative and Marketing.
- The right candidate has worked directly in relevant fields such as technical journalism, product marketing, or engineering.
- He or she is inherently creative, an expert communicator, and exercises exceptional judgement.
Responsibilities
- Own Amca's relationship with external platforms (e.g., forums) and networks.
- To start, these are the core areas of work this person will own.
- Own the go-to-market strategy for Amca's product development platform, RAPID.
- Develop, in collaboration with our engineering team, a clear, technically honest, and compelling way to communicate what RAPID is and why it matters to a range of stakeholders: engineers, program managers, and government leaders.
- Work with the CEO, VP of Growth, and other members of the leadership team to develop and refine how we communicate about the industrial base.
- Maintain deep awareness of what is being published in the industrial ecosystem to continuously sharpen Amca's position and POV within policy discourse.
Compensation
- $100,000 - $170,000 USD
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
- ITAR defines a US person as: any individual who is granted U.S. citizenship; or. any individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence ("Green Card" holder); or. any individual who is granted status as a "protected person" under 8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3).
- Serve as the primary technical contributor on multi-media, spanning long-form writing (op-eds, blog posts, industry publications), video (long + short form), events, and other branded materials.
- Work closely with our engineering team to ensure all technical content is captured accurately.
