Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, budgeting, and execution of multiple complex engineering and capital projects, ensuring delivery against scope, cost, and schedule commitments.
  • Develop engineering designs, process flow diagrams, material and energy balances, preliminary P&IDs, and process control strategies to support project execution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, innovative technologies, and innovative solutions that optimize productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and create long-term value.
  • Partner with Maintenance & Reliability teams to coordinate project design, shutdown planning, scheduling, and major reliability improvement initiatives.
  • As a Sr Project Engineer, you will lead complex capital and process improvement projects that drive operational excellence, reduce manufacturing costs, improve productivity, and minimize waste across our operations.
  • You will leverage your technical expertise and project leadership capabilities to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • This role reports to the Manager Project Engineering and partners closely with Operations, Maintenance & Reliability, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver sustainable business results.
  • A collaborative leader who effectively influences stakeholders and builds alignment across multiple functions.
  • A strategic problem solver who thrives in ambiguous situations and develops practical, value-driven solutions.
  • An effective communicator who proactively shares information and manages stakeholder expectations throughout project execution.

Compensation

  • $102,100.00-$136,166.67 Annual
  • This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
  • As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
  • Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
