About the role

  • The Production Worker I is responsible for safely gathering or putting away raw materials and assembling goods in production cells.
  • In addition, this position will carry out basic quality checks such as visual inspection for cosmetic defects and functional testing of product, and packaging and adequately storing all necessary items.
  • Work on production cell and meet production targets.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience handling or working in a production line.

Nice to have

  • Experience reading/understanding blueprints is a plus.

  • Ability to learn new skills and tasks
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to read and write alpha numeric identification numbers.
  • Ability to learn to use a RF scanning equipment
  • Ability to follow pre-established processes and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to see details at close range
  • Ability to listen and understand basic information and ideas presented
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel) is a plus
  • Working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP)
  • English (reading, writing, verbal) bilingual is a plus
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply)
