Responsibilities
- Install, rack, stack, cable, label, and validate servers, network devices, storage systems, rack power distribution units, and associated rack and MOR cabling by following approved work instructions.
- Perform documented hardware repairs, component replacements, rack moves, equipment deployments, and IT equipment decommissioning with appropriate guidance and escalation.
- Support server imaging and deployment using approved MDT, WDS, PXE, or equivalent environments
- Maintain an orderly work area and participate in process, documentation, and operational-readiness improvements.
- Support server imaging and deployment using approved MDT, WDS, PXE, or equivalent environments; apply operating system updates, patches, and baseline configurations.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of server components, network devices, storage hardware, structured cabling, rack layouts, and basic power concepts.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in data center operations, IT hardware support, desktop support, field services, networking, or a comparable technical environment
- relevant technical education or lab experience may substitute for professional experience.
- Foundational understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and common connectivity troubleshooting.
- Ability to follow detailed technical procedures, use ticketing and inventory systems, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, dependability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to work onsite, perform hands-on equipment tasks, and meet the physical and scheduling requirements of the assigned data center environment.
Nice to have
- Associate degree, technical diploma, military technical training, or equivalent coursework in information technology, networking, electronics, or a related discipline.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent entry-level certification.
- Experience with server imaging or deployment tools such as MDT, WDS, or PXE.
- Experience in a data center, network operations center, hardware lab, warehouse technology, or other controlled technical environment.

Compensation
- At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.
- For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated compensation range is from $26.44 to $32.69 USD/hour, with a midpoint of $29.57 USD/hour.
- Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
- The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate's qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
