About the role
- Assists in establishing and optimizing rodent models of kidney transplantation.
- Assists with pre-operative preparation, surgical procedures, post-operative monitoring, and animal care.
- Collects, processes, and preserves blood, urine, kidney, and other tissue samples.
Responsibilities
- Ability to create and maintain extensive records on research subjects.
Requirements
- OR Master's Degree and one (1) year or relevant lab experience.
- This position may occasionally be required to work evenings
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree. (Doctoral Degree preferred.)(TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
Skills
- Ability to think and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Demonstrates effective listening, oral and written communication skills.
- Technical writing skills for proposal, report, and manuscript preparation.
- Knowledge of Basic Research Principles and Federal Code of Regulations for Clinical Research Studies.
- Excellent organizational skills.
