This is a hands-on, end-to-end ownership role.

We're hiring our first dedicated indirect tax specialist to own all things indirect tax globally, reporting to the Head of Tax.

Deep expertise in US sales & use tax - multi-state compliance, nexus analysis, product taxability, exemption certificates, and audit defense - ideally for digital products, SaaS, or electronically supplied services
Proven end-to-end ownership of multi-jurisdiction indirect tax compliance - you've run the filings, reconciliations, and audits yourself, not just reviewed them
Strong systems and data skills: experience with billing platforms or tax engines (e.g., Stripe Tax, Avalara, Vertex) and improving processes through automation

experience with US indirect tax audits (state sales tax or gross receipts), e-invoicing mandates, DST regimes, tax engine implementations, or supporting new market launches.
