About the role
- The Arc of Ocean County is looking for dependable Drivers who take pride in providing safe, reliable transportation while creating a welcoming and respectful experience for every passenger.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, fueled, and maintained according to agency standards.
- Communicate route changes, maintenance concerns, scheduling updates, or incidents promptly to supervisory staff.
Requirements
- The ability to safely operate agency vehicles in varying driving conditions.
- Excellent judgment, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
- The ability to successfully complete all required background screenings, drug screenings, and agency pre-employment requirements.
- Willingness to complete required Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) training and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Accurately complete mileage reports, transportation logs, attendance records, and other required documentation.
- Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is beneficial but not required-we provide the training you need to succeed.
